How a Bottega Franchi creation is born
“The mind records everything we see when we are around. So when I think about an object, what I have seen and stored emerges, including unconscious elements. This is how ideas are born. Sometimes I start by drawing, sometimes I work directly on wax or metal and see what emerges.”
Traditional and modern techniques
Our workshop is a place where the ancient techniques of goldsmithing meet the most modern innovations.
We use traditional methods such as chiseling and fire enameling alongside contemporary techniques such as lost-wax and banquet work.
This combination allows us to create jewelry and works of art that are both classic and modern.
