Founded in 1962, Bottega Franchi is the place where craftsmanship, beauty, research and the culture of “well-made” come together to create unique creations.
Our roots
To tell the story of Bottega Franchi is to take a journey through 61 years of passion and dedication.
Our business, started by my father in 1962 with the opening of three stores in central Rome, has always had contemporary artistic goldsmithing at its heart.
In the beginning, my father was mocked for his creations, which were considered alien for the time.
However, as time passed, we became a reference point for those who wished to learn from us.
Savoir faire
Each Bottega Franchi piece is designed and made entirely by us.
We do not cooperate with external partners, except for the purchase of materials such as casting plaster, saws, and files.
We make everything by hand, including the more complex elements such as griffes and settings.
